Marie-Claire is an Improvement Advisor and Cluster Lead for the Children and Young Peoples Improvement Collaborative (CYPIC). In this role she supports Local Authorities to build capacity and capability in Quality Improvement (QI) and supports the delivery of their improvement priorities across children’s services. As cluster lead for the Northern Alliance, South East and South West she enjoys working alongside colleagues who support these areas in the delivery of our programme.
Marie-Claire has a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Therapeutics (Hons) and enjoyed a career as a Lead Speech and Language Therapist for 20 years before taking on a management role implementing the Parenting Framework in NHS Greater and Clyde in 2012. She graduated as an Improvement Advisor with the Institute of Healthcare Improvement in 2015 and joined the Scottish Government in 2016 as an Improvement Advisor for the Children and Young People’s Improvement Collaborative.
