Lee joined the Scottish Government in 2017 as an Improvement Advisor for the Children and Young People Improvement Collaborative. She feels fortunate to have worked with babies, children and young people for over 15 years as an Occupational Therapist. This path took her into an OT Professional Lead Advisor position in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde which led her into a service manager role within Glasgow, managing Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Community Paediatric Services. During her 12 year period as a service manager she gained incredible insight into the power of creating collaborative space and opportunity for curiosity and creativity.
Lee taught English as a foreign language while living in southern Germany. She is a graduate of the Institute of Healthcare Improvement and is a co-facilitator for Leading for the Future Programme; a senior leadership development package run in partnership across public services.
