The Early Years Collaborative (EYC) is the world’s first multi-agency, bottom up quality improvement programme to support the transformation of early years. Launched in October 2012, it involves all 32 Community Planning Partnerships and a wide range of National Partners. It’s focus is on strengthening and building on services using improvement methodology, enabling local practitioners to test, measure, implement and scale up new ways of working to improve outcomes for children and families.
The objective of the EYC is to accelerate the high level principles set out in the Early Years Framework into practical action – in line with GIRFEC. This will include a national two day Learning Session involving over 700 CPP practitioners at each.
For the first time in 2015, we are brought together the Early Years Collaborative and Raising Attainment for All learning sessions and the 2016 will continue to offer an integrated and joined up event.
The 2016 Learning Session event took place at the SECC on the 15th and 16th November. Details on the 2017 programme will launch shortly.
